Some material didn't make it in the book and some material will get added

Getting
Paramotor Parts
Web Page |
Thanks for the contribution of
Ron Hogan. Here you'll find some tips on where to get parts for
various paramotors. Although it's always best to support your dealer,
these can help in a pinch. |

Aerodynamics
of Downwind
PDF File, 125 Kb
|
It's been well established that
there is no difference, aerodynamically speaking, between flying downwind and upwind.
Well, that's mostly true. There is one obscure situation that was
left out of the book because it would only complicate matters
unnecessarily. But now that you've read and digested the whole
"downwind demon" part of Chapter 22, this might be interesting. |

Triggering
A Thermal
GIF file, 88 Kb
|
Page 245 describes thermal
formation in more general terms but questions on small thermal triggers
still come up. This graphic shows how something as small as a
tractor can ignite a process that is about to begin anyway. It details
what the lava lamp, shown on Page 245, also shows. |
