2009-2010 World Director of Foot Launch Aviation

The name is officially World Directory of Free Flight it's got everything foot launched and much more.

Temporarily out of stock!

Officially, it's called the World Directory of Free Flight. That name is way too limiting.

Here is the planet's most complete directly of everything paramotor; everything foot-launched for that matter.  I've been in the sport since 1999 and haven't heard of probably half the paramotor brands listed. Same with Paragliders. They're laid out by section in an easy-to-navigate form with specs in easy-to-find format.

There's tons of other stuff, too, from hang gliders to speed flying wings to more kinds of wheeled craft than I knew existed. They call  them paraplanes but they're mostly powered paragliders. Since wheeled tandems are still allowed in many countries, it includes many of those craft. Traditional PPC's are included in the category but they're outnumbered probably 5 to 1 by the plethora of powered paraglider units.

It's also interesting to see the ads from companies all over the world. It is in English but many products are represented. I knew there were powered hang gliders, for example, but had no idea there were NINE brands.

This started out as the World Directory of Leisure aviation but, after growing to over 350 pages in 2008, was broken down into two volumes, leaving us with an incredible listing of both foot launched paramotors and hang gliders and wheeled versions of the same.

It is published by the creators of Today's Pilot Magazine in a number of languages, thankfully including English.
