Log of life outside of flying. We’re lucky to be human and to be alive in a time when so much diversity is available. I’m also passionate about trying to make the world a more rational place, where “belief” is replaced with “understanding,” and it’s based on quality evidence. And where people understand the value of strong expert consensus. All knowledge comes in degrees of certainty and evidence comes in degrees of quality. We will do the best as a people if we base policy on these foundations of reliable knowledge.
