34: Cool Places to Fly

Most pilots are protective of their sites because any increase in activity, even by responsible pilots, can cause unwanted attention. Some sites are especially sensitive, like private airports.
Needless to say, thoughtless flyers can quickly ruin a good deal. These few places enjoyed a welcome at publication date but there are no guarantees. I’ve seen many sites get closed down when they started getting widely used, even by well-meaning pilots.
