Rain and chilly wind made my hopes of going to Koerner's Kankakee
gathering dim but by noon I noticed a distinct brightening. Sure enough,
Sol was out calling me forth and a quick call to Lance Marczak revealed
that it might be decent. At this late hour I figured it would be fun to
fly down just to go see everyone and maybe mooch a quick flight or two
since Lance was kind enough to offer his machine.
Turns out the weather was spectacular!
We've got a great bunch of folks in Illinois and a whopping bunch of
them came out, including Randy from Wisconsin. Was good to see everyone.
